GOOD COMPANIONS

We meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 2.30 in the afternoon in the Pathfinder Community Hall.  We always have an invited speaker, these cover a wide range of subjects and usually are accompanied by photographic slides.

During the meeting there are greeting cards on sale, we have a 'bonus ball' lotto and a raffle which all helps towards Club funds.

Our gallant team of helpers make a lovely cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit after our speaker has finished!

From March up to and including October, we have a coach outing which takes place on the second Wednesday of the month.  recent trips include Clarks Village, Falmouth, Barnstaple, Swanage, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Plymouth, Weymouth and Cheddar.  A list of possible venues is handed out to our members at the beginning of the year and they choose where they would like to go and the places with the most votes win!

We also arrange a free 'Christmas Tea' for those members who have attended a specified number of meetings.  This is held in the Community Hall and we book an entertainer for the afternoon.

We also have a Christmas Lunch, which is also free for members who have attended five out of the eight outings.  Other members who have not attended five outings may come and are charge at half price.

We are a happy bunch of ladies and gentlemen and are always on the lookout for new members so if you are new to either Tedburn or Pathfinder and would like to make new friend, please give me a ring or turn up to one of our meetings - you'll be most welcome.
