  Playing Fields

We have two main playing fields in the Parish:  the Recreation Ground, known as the Rec, and Barley Park.

The Rec, which is down the lane on the Whitestone Road opposite Oldridge Close, was developed in the 1970s to provide recreation facilities for the Parish.

At the Rec, there is an all-weather cricket pitch with its own Club House, Tennis Courts, a Children’s Play Area, a basketball hoop and a skateboard area.

Please click on one of the following links to find out more about the Rec and the activities that take place there.

Barley Park Football Ground is on the road from the village to Pathfinder and the A30 (beside Woodlands Park). It was developed in the 1990s, and is the home of the Tedburn Saints. Please click here for further information.

  Public Open Spaces

The two main open spaces in the Village are the Orchard at the end of Cleave Close, and the Green Area in Four Oaks Road.
